I love when hosts are given the opportunity and leeway to carry an entire show. Last night, Melissa McCarthy showed America what a fearless and peerless comic performer she is and delivered one of the best host performances of the last few years. And I, for one, am very grateful to everyone at SNL for turning the show into a Melissa McCarthy comedy showcase. Bravo, lady.
